Areas of Focus

I focus on working with teenagers and adults with specific emphasis on trauma, anxiety and depression. My training and licensure as Marriage and Family Therapist allows me to help you work on resolving relational challenges in your life as well as offers a lens of relational influences on your mental health and wellbeing. I do NOT offer couples/marital or family counseling since this is not my area of expertise. I am happy to work collaboratively with your couples or family therapist and/or recommend one that may be a good fit for you and your loved ones.  

Therapeutic Approaches

My approach to therapy is very flexible and based on your needs. I do not apply a modularized approach or step by step system. 

I am trained in a number of therapeutic techniques which helps me work with clients from variety of different backgrounds. In our work together we will explore and focus on what specifically works for you. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and belong to the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP) which allows me to help you work on any unresolved traumatic challenges and painful past experiences you may have been affected by. I focus on a combination of Mindfulness-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
